Two days Appreciative Inquiry Summit for positive youth Development has been kicked off in the yard of Fewa Lake and Mt. Fishtail. The summit is organized by Hotel Raniban Arcade Pokhara as a part of corporate social responsibility in collaboration with Eastern Research Institute of Positive Science (ERIPS). The hotel has initiated the Raniban Foundation for contributing on social welfare.

Mr. Bhimsen Bhujel the chairperson of Hotel Raniban Arcade and Raniban Foundation, and Mr. Dipendra Shrestha the chairperson of Federation of Nepalese Journalist Kaski jointly inaugurated the summit by lighting the lamp in the seminar hall of Hotel Raniban Arcade Pokhara.  Mr. Hari Bhujel, the president of TAAN Pokhara and Mr. Radha Krishna Lamichhane, the executive member of Imagine Nepal, addressed the inaugural session.  Young entrepreneurs representing various business have been participating in the Summit. Dr. Ram Chandra Lamichhane, Appreciative Inquiry certified Trainer on Igniting Positive Business and Societal Transformation and Ms. Rebina MulmiBajracharya, the Enterprise Development Experts have been facilitating the summit. 

Positive Youth Development is and intentional pro-social approach that engages youth within their communities, schools, families or organizations in a manner that is productive and constructive recognizes, utilizes, and enhance young people’s strengths; and promote positive outcome for young people by providing opportunities, fostering positive relationships and furnishing the support needed to build on their leadership strengths. Every youth has talents, strengths and interest that offer them potential bright future. The positive youth development focuses on every youth unique talents, strengths, interest and future potential.

To create the positive vibration and Appreciative Inquiry culture in organization and society, Appreciative Inquiry Summit for Positive Youth Development is designed for those who want to develop their career as positive transformative leaders. In this training, participants have been learning the theoretical foundation as well as application aspects of Appreciative Inquiry. They are realizing how AI is different than other approaches to bring the positive transformation in the organizations as well as individual life. Participants are able to learn positive personality development process and techniques and skills based on positive cores of existing personality and imagination of future personality.

Appreciative Inquiry Approach for Positive Youth Summits including keynote speeches, mini-lectures, and experiential learning (individual, pairs, trios, small group, and large group) as well as auditory and visual materials to enhance the learning experience.
