As COVID-19 has created a new situation for the entire social system, many new avenues are emerging to cope with this unimagined and unexpected social atmosphere. COVID-19 has opened new avenues of thinking and action. It has inspired us to innovate new ideas by striving to extend and sustain our relationships and bonds. Today’s headlines from around the globe remind us- now more than ever- we need to explore new ways to organize, collaborate, and strengthen our communities. With this lofty, but essential goal in mind, we have planned to conduct Appreciative Leadership Training for Sustainable Positive Transformation Training of Trainers in Kathmandu, Nepal from 22-25 November 2023. The Appreciative Inquiry Approach is a strengths revolution that is well complemented by other strengths-based positive change models of development and transformation.
During this Training we will explore many innovative applications of Appreciative Inquiry and other Strengths-Based Approaches for transformative change and development that are currently being used to develop a positive personality and address the developmental challenges of the 21st century said Mr. William Riwaj the program director of ERIPS.
Appreciative Leadership and Management Training focuses on developing leadership skills and techniques with a specific emphasis on positive and appreciative approaches. It involves cultivating a leadership mindset that values and build upon the strengths and capabilities of individual and teams, rather than focusing on weaknesses and limitations. The training usually includes activities and strategies that encourage leaders to identify and appreciate the positive aspects of their team members, leverage their strengths, and create a positive and empowering work environment. The goal is to enhance leadership effectiveness, promote employee engagement and satisfaction, and foster a culture of positivity and productivity within the organization.
Appreciative Leadership and Sustainable Positive Transformation Training are designed for those who want to develop their career as positive transformative change Leaders in different organizations. Anyone who aims to facilitate positive vibration and culture in the organization and society by the application of Appreciative Inquiry can participate in the training.
In this training, participants will be able to learn the theoretical foundation as well as the practical application of Appreciative Leadership. In addition, participants will obtain the skills to facilitate purposefully influencing positive emotions that encourage team members to excel in their work. This training will cultivate an empowering environment through communication, accountability, emotional intelligence, motivation, and high-level work ethics. This training will teach us to see the well-being of the individual and organization as parts of the coin. The four days long training will be facilitated by the Appreciative Inquiry Certified International Trainers Dr. RC Lamichhane and Mr. Buddhi Tamang.
